Now select \u2018Auto Billing\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"292\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-369.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64799\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now Select \u2018New Action\u2019 from the top menu. For example, select the client number and matter (if enable defaults has not been used), you are then tabbed to the next box, you fill in the details, this then automatically tabs to the next box etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Auto Credit<\/strong>: Select this check box to also post an Office Receipt for the billed amount<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Auto Credit from Nominal<\/strong>:  Select this check box to post a Transfer to Nominal for the billed amount as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click &#8216;New&#8217; on the top bar to create a new bill entry row, you will also see the client defaults appear. Do not click \u2018New Action\u2019 as this will lose your entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Client No<\/strong>: Select this to type in the correct Client number or search for it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Matter No<\/strong>: Select this to type in the correct  Matter number or search for it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fee Earner ID<\/strong>: Select this to type in the correct Fee Earner or search for it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Description<\/strong>: Select this to type the description of the bill <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Date<\/strong>: Select this to enter or select the date of the bill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Total Profit Costs<\/strong>: Select this to type in the Costs of the bill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Total Disbs<\/strong>: Select this to type in the amount of Disbursements to bill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>VAT<\/strong>: This is calculated from the information entered in the previous fields <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Total Bill<\/strong>: The total amount to bill will be displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spool for Print<\/strong>: Tick this to make the bill available to be printed in Time Recording &gt; Time Billing &gt; Print Bills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click \u2018New\u2019 to add further rows\nas required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you select an alternative client, the default settings for that matter will still display. Fill in all details as mentioned previously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Delete a Single Entry<\/strong>: To delete a single entry, click the box to the left hand side of the entry, the selected item will shade in orange. Click the \u2018Remove\u2019 option from the menu at the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delete Multiple Entries<\/strong>: To remove multiple entries, click the first entry to be removed and then click and hold your \u2018Ctrl\u2019 key and then left click with your mouse to select further rows, then select the &#8216;Remove&#8217; option to delete all selected rows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delete all Entries<\/strong>: To remove all rows, you can click the box next to where it says \u2018Client No\u2019 and this automatically select all rows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amend an Entry<\/strong>: Any column entry can be amended by double-clicking the left mouse button inside the relevant box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clone an Entry<\/strong>: If you wish to clone an entry,  click the box to the left hand side of the relevant entry, then select \u2018Clone\u2019   from the menu as show below, all details from the selected row will be copied   to a new row.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saving Your Bills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bill Now<\/strong>:  Left click Bill Now to save your Bills. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Print<\/strong>:  Left Click the black arrow next to Bill Now, this will display the option to Print, select this to print your bills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"236\" height=\"122\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-374.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64807\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\">Import CSV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can import bill details that have been added to an excel spreadsheet.&nbsp; You must ensure that the excel document has been saved as a CSV file prior to the import and that the maximum amount of columns does not exceed 8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-info wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that any data entered into the excel spreadsheet needs to be in the appropriate column order due to data fields in the system being set as either text or numeric, you do not need to have column headings and you do not need to add data to every cell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-warning wp-block-paragraph\">If you add anything other than numeric values into column headings F or G  your import will fail as these columns can only merge through numerical values.&nbsp;
