Failure to do so may result in the training being postponed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-warning wp-block-paragraph\"><br>To use the report writer, your<strong> Osprey user must be linked to the Supervisor access template,<\/strong> and you will need permissions on your local machine to enable installation of the report writer software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Checklist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Check Access Template to ensure all relevant areas are accessible<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When logged in as a Supervisor user, ensure you can see the following areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reports &gt; Reports (New) and the list of currently available reports:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"834\" height=\"309\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-411.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64947\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-411.png 834w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-411-300x111.png 300w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-411-768x285.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 834px) 100vw, 834px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supervisor &gt; Report Setup &gt; Report Type:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"491\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-412.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64948\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-412.png 491w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-412-291x300.png 291w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you do not have access to either of these areas, please follow the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go to the Supervisor area of Osprey and then select \u2018System Settings\u2019. When the menu appears, click on \u2018Users\u2019 and then \u2018Access Templates\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This will open a list of the areas of Osprey which can then be edited to allow access for users linked to a specific template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"303\" height=\"370\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-414.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64950\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-414.png 303w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-414-246x300.png 246w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 303px) 100vw, 303px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Edit the \u2018Supervisor\u2019 template and scroll toward the bottom of the list of Supervisor check boxes. Ensure the areas displayed below are checked:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"398\" height=\"71\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-28.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51483\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-28.png 398w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-28-300x54.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 398px) 100vw, 398px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to allow users access to any saved reports, ensure that the following options are checked against any relevant access template under the Reports area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"412\" height=\"70\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-29.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51484\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-29.png 412w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-29-300x51.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 412px) 100vw, 412px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Install the Report Designer software<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ensure that you have installed the Report Designer software on the PC that you intend to perform the training session on, using the link below. This may require administrator rights, so we recommend that you discuss this with your IT team.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.ospreyapproach.com\/products\/tools\/ReportDesigner\/ReportDesigner.zip\">https:\/\/apps.ospreyapproach.com\/products\/tools\/ReportDesigner\/ReportDesigner.zip<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click the link above, and a box similar to the below will open:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"359\" height=\"75\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-22.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-22.png 359w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image-22-300x63.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 359px) 100vw, 359px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click Open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A File Explorer box will open:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"688\" height=\"184\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-416.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64954\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-416.png 688w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-416-300x80.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 688px) 100vw, 688px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Double click the ReportDesigner folder, then double click the setup.exe file:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"660\" height=\"175\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-417.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64956\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-417.png 660w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-417-300x80.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the instructions to install the Report Designer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once installed, the Report Writer will be available on your computer. The icon is shown below. You can search for the application in the bottom left hand corner search box, or select it from the Programs menu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"105\" height=\"175\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/image-418.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64958\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-warning wp-block-paragraph\">Be aware that the .NET Framework 4 will need to be installed on your computer to enable you to use the Report Writer. When installing the software for the first time, you will be prompted to download it if this is not found. Please note that this is simply a Microsoft update and can be downloaded from their website should the prompt not appear. If any assistance is required, please contact your network administrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Set your Osprey URL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can now select the icon to open the Report Writer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When using the Report Writer for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the URL for your Osprey database. For example https:\/\/pracctice.ospreyapproach.com\/main.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"467\" height=\"302\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/image-142.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2105\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/image-142.png 467w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/image-142-300x194.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 467px) 100vw, 467px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once entered, you must supply your Osprey username and password. If any assistance is required in terms of creating and editing reports, please contact our Support team on 03300 604 940.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ensure your User ID is set up to use the Supervisor Template<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ensure that your Osprey User ID is linked to the Supervisor access template \u2013 only Supervisor users are permitted to log in to the report designer.
