{"id":52120,"date":"2022-12-13T15:19:42","date_gmt":"2022-12-13T15:19:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/?post_type=pracctice_guide&#038;p=52120"},"modified":"2024-08-06T15:41:17","modified_gmt":"2024-08-06T14:41:17","slug":"add-and-edit-matters-app","status":"publish","type":"pracctice_guide","link":"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/support\/guides\/add-and-edit-matters-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Add and Edit Matters (App)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"card\">\n\n    <p class=\"mb-2\"><strong>Who is this guide for?<\/strong><\/p>\n    <p class=\"mb-0\"><i class=\"far fa-user fa-fw mr-2\"><\/i> <strong>Any Users<\/strong><\/p>    \n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This guide will take you through adding and editing matters in the case management app<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have an existing client who has instructed you upon a new matter, you can simply add a new matter to the existing client&#8217;s record &#8211; this avoids having to duplicate any information you have already saved against the client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you need to edit an existing matter, everything other than the client and matter numbers (and branch\/department, if there are financial postings on the matter) can be edited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\">Add a new matter to an existing client<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Navigate to the Clients &amp; Matters menu, and search for the client you want to add the new matter to.
