This guide will take you through this<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\">Adding a Key Date<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key Dates can be added from the Case management area of Osprey . Navigate to Case Management &#8211; then click the Key Dates Button<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"502\" height=\"520\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/key-date-screen.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52893\" style=\"width:311px;height:322px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now select +Add Key Date In the page that opens up you can now enter the details for the Key Date,  Once the boxes have been completed click SAVE to create the key date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"593\" height=\"818\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/key-date-detail-app.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52897\" style=\"width:357px;height:492px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/key-date-detail-app.png 593w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/key-date-detail-app-217x300.png 217w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 593px) 100vw, 593px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Key Date &#8211; Type or select a date from the calender for the Key Date<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key Date Type &#8211; Select the Key Date type from the dropdown menu.  Key date types are set up by your supervisor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notes &#8211; Type in any notes you may need for this key date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fee Earner &#8211; Displays the Fee Earner on the Matter <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional Fee Earners &#8211;  If additional fee earners need to be aware of this key date they can be selected from the list.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Date Met &#8211; Once your Key Date has been met, place a tick in this box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Create Diary Appointment? &#8211; For office 365 users you can place a tick in one of these boxes to create an outlook diary appointment\/reminder for the Key Date<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Published? &#8211; For users who have our Client portal set up, placing a tick here will allow their clients to see the key date in the portal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\">Viewing your Key Dates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can view a list of your key dates in two places in the case management app <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the Home screen <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the Case Management Key Dates Screen<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Home Screen <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Navigate to the Home Screen,  on this screen you will see two lists for key dates,  Your Key Dates and Key Dates Added by you. This will open the page showing all of the key dates on the currently loaded matter <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"160\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/cm-key-date-screen-1024x160.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52901\" style=\"width:957px;height:149px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/cm-key-date-screen-1024x160.png 1024w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/cm-key-date-screen-300x47.png 300w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/cm-key-date-screen-768x120.png 768w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/cm-key-date-screen-1536x240.png 1536w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/cm-key-date-screen.png 1642w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\">Managing your key dates <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the key date list in the case management area you can amend the details of the key date or mark the key date as being met. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Navigate to Case management &#8212; Key dates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To edit the details for the key date click on the pencil icon on the row you want to edit under the EDIT column <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"854\" height=\"249\" src=\"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/edit-icon.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52905\" style=\"width:496px;height:144px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/edit-icon.png 854w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/edit-icon-300x87.png 300w, https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/edit-icon-768x224.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 854px) 100vw, 854px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">this will open the same details screen used when creating the key date and you can now edit any of those details <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mark Key Date as Met<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you have completed any actions associated with a key date you will want to mark that key date as being Met.  This will stop any reminders and remove the key date from the lists on the Home page.  The met key dates will still be visible on the key date page in the case management section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Navigate to Case management &#8212; Key Dates, or select the key date from the home page as previously described.  All key dates that are not met will have a small red dot in the DATE MET column.  Click onto the pencil icon in the EDIT column,  place a tick into the Date Met box and click save.
