{"id":71083,"date":"2025-01-14T14:56:16","date_gmt":"2025-01-14T14:56:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.ospreyapproach.com\/?post_type=pracctice_guide&#038;p=71083"},"modified":"2025-01-15T14:24:56","modified_gmt":"2025-01-15T14:24:56","slug":"crm6-youth-court-changes-december-2024","status":"publish","type":"pracctice_guide","link":"https:\/\/ospreyapproach2022.wireddemo.co.uk\/support\/guides\/crm6-youth-court-changes-december-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"CRM6 Youth Court changes &#8211; December 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"card\">\n\n    <p class=\"mb-2\"><strong>Who is this guide for?<\/strong><\/p>\n    <p class=\"mb-0\"><i class=\"far fa-user fa-fw mr-2\"><\/i> <strong>Accounts Users<\/strong>, <strong>Accounts Supervisors<\/strong>, <strong>Case Workers<\/strong> and <strong>Case Management Supervisors<\/strong><\/p>    \n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This guide will assist you with coding up your Youth Court matters following the LAA changes in December 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Matter Setup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Set your matter as usual for a proceedings matter, with the remuneration type of CRIMRMC &#8211; PROE\/F\/J\/K\/L\/W, YOUE\/F\/K\/L\/X\/Y: Representation in the Magistrates or Youth Court. The matter will need a UFN, and time recorded as per a regular proceedings claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Proceedings Page<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Proceedings page, ensure that the Youth Court option is set to Yes. If the Representation Order date is on or after 6th December 2024, you will need to choose one of the new Stage Reached codes published by the LAA. These will have been added for you and are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>YOUE &#8211; Youth Representation Order (undesignated area) Lower Standard Fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>YOUF &#8211; Youth Representation Order (undesignated area) Higher Standard Fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>YOUK &#8211; Youth Representation Order (designated area) Lower Standard Fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>YOUL &#8211; Youth Representation Order (designated area) Higher Standard Fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>YOUX &#8211; Youth Representation Order (undesignated area) Second claim for deferred sentence (can be a higher or lower standard fee)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>YOUY &#8211; Youth Representation Order (designated area) Second claim for deferred sentence (can be a lower or higher standard fee)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are also new Standard Fee Categories.
